a bit about me.

ADVERTISING EXECUTIVE | THEATRE ENTHUSIAST | NEW YORKER | VINYL COLLECTOR | OXFORD COMMA USER | COLORBLIND | MIDWESTERNER-AT-HEART | PUG PAPA | ASPIRING NATIONAL TREASURE

I grew up in Indianapolis, a ham in a family of introverts, which meant I learned early how to command a room whether anyone asked me to or not. I started acting at 12, eventually performing in or directing more than 50 stage productions before I ever set foot in an office.

I studied musical theatre before pivoting to advertising and public relations. Turns out the instincts translate: show up prepared, read the room, commit fully once the lights come up. Building a brand and creating a character both come down to a strong point of view, a little nerve, and a lot of listening.

New York gave me the chance to combine both loves, and I've called it home for over a decade now, climbing from account director to the C-suite one late night and small win at a time. Somewhere along the way my career found healthcare, and I never looked back. It's a category that rewards exactly the kind of empathy and Midwestern show-up-and-do-the-work tenacity I grew up with.

Outside the office, you'll find me exploring the city and the world, catching as much theatre as possible, adding to a growing vinyl collection, obsessing over interior design (colorblindness be damned), chasing a great meal, and living entirely at the mercy of my two year old pug, Gyoza.
